The official family crest used by the genealogical society “Gens Dunia” was designed and first used in 1968. The family crest resembles five different family coat of arms from the then recognized family branches.

It carries a Latin motto “In differentia Unum” meaning “In diversity One”.

The family crest will remain the recognizable face and symbol of this genealogical society, although by now the society has identified more than 15 separate family branches.
